Snodland Furniture Dismantling & Reassembly
Most commonly wardrobes, beds, cots and desks require dismantling. Often we remove legs from dining tables and feet from sofas without charge. We can give you a price per item included in your formal removals quotation.
As with all our services we’re familiar with dismantling & reassembling furniture and our experience goes back to 2002. We only dismantle if we think it’s the best option and over the years we’ve learned how to overcome small problems which sometimes arise.
Occasionally customers want to avoid dismantling, worried that the furniture will not be reassembled properly. We’ve been building flatpack furniture in Snodland for 20 years - so if it needs doing, don’t worry, we’ll do it professionally!
Snodland Furniture (Export) wrapping
Removal companies call this “export wrapping” because it’s primarily used as an extra protection for furniture which is being shipped internationally and will be multi-handled, in different countries, between collection and delivery.
We also offer this service to Snodland removal customers who are moving their furniture into self-store. We can wrap on collection and unwrap on delivery when you come out of self store. Furniture can be stacked up in a self store unit with protection from bumps and scrapes.
We don’t do this for direct, local removals as we protect furniture on our lorry with transit blankets whilst on board.
Storage for our Snodland Removal customers
We use traditional removals warehouse containers to store your belongings. They are an industry standard 5' by 7' by 7.5' tall - this is equivalent to a 35 square foot room in a self store centre. We think we're better value than self store, especially over the medium and long term. You can rent these for £16.80/week all inclusive. This includes indemnity insurance for goods in storage.
