It was a complex series of moves - into storage, then some out of storage into temporary accommodation, then out of storage into permanent residence, finally from temporary to permanent residence. All of it, from initial contact and advice through quotation to the actual moves carried out impeccably. I'd heartily recommend Philip, Owain and the team.

We were very happy with the whole removal process. Quick, straightforward and efficient. Seamless delivery of furniture to Wales. Owain was great - very helpful and friendly.

What a complete pleasure to deal with. We used this company today to move the contents of our scout group. Three guys arrived and they were amazing. Nothing was to much trouble, they even helped with stuff that they didn't have to. They were really careful with all the stuff they were loading. Being polite, friendly and good humoured. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone.

Fantastic service from the very first call to the removal team pulling away in empty vehicles having facilitated our very own Escape to the Country. Having received the most detailed and informative flyer from Philip Marks we invited them to quote for our move. Philip visited a couple of days later and was very helpful when assessing our worldly belongings pointing out potential difficulties for moving some of the furniture we had amassed and ensuring he had allowed for everything we wanted included and explaining how he proposed to plan the move over three days. His quote arrived a few days later and whilst not the cheapest (nor the most expensive!) we had the feeling that Philip Marks were the right company for us. In the coming months with the delights of an evolving property chain the office team were always very supportive and encouraging when we called to say that there had been another delay and dates were moving backwards. When we finally had confidence that our move was actually going to happen we took advantage of the opportunity to buy boxes, tape, etc. from Philip Marks knowing that we could return the boxes after the move and began the process of packing. With first the deposit on exchange to secure the removal slot and then the balance paid it was a great sight to see the removal lorry appear in our Close. The 4 man team packing were absolutely 1st class, friendly, understanding, helpful and extremely hard working. It was an amazing sight to see our belongings gradually being packed into the lorry and an enormous relief when they all fitted…. The team had assured us they would but it still seemed unlikely to begin with! At the end of the first day we were left with the bits we needed overnight and the team returned on completion day to pack the last items and we all headed west at various times to assemble at our new home. Keys were finally secured very late in the day but the 3 man team on hand to unload worked until early evening to get as much unloaded as we needed before they headed off to find digs for the night returning the following morning still happy and smiling despite yet more unpacking and then a long drive back home. With everything unpacked and several checks that we were happy with everything, it was time to say thanks and wave the team goodbye. Breakages… the Philip Marks team handled everything with such care that nothing was damaged, broken or went missing during the move other than the dog food bin that I managed to smash and a glass we dropped unpacking. We have the boxes mostly unpacked and ready to return on a trip back to Kent very shortly and can’t wait to say a personal thank you to the back office team who are only ever heard not seen but helped manage the whole process and ensure our move was as relaxed and stress free as possible. So in our experience, like so many others, we feel the service provided by the whole team at Philip Marks Removals is second to none and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

We were so impressed with Philip Marks and the guys who moved us - they worked incredibly hard all day and had to navigate a top floor flat with no lift. There were no breakages and everything arrived in one piece - I would highly recommend this company and an excellent price too.

Moving house is a stressful expereience. Phillip and his team took great care of us and our belongings and took a great deal of stress out of the process. They arrived the day before to pack the the breakables - they got on with the job very efficiently and completed the packing on time. Also a very friendly bunch. Next day a new team arrived and loaded the lorries and left at midday. Arrived at the new house on time and by the end of the day all 60 boxes were unloaded, along with all the furniture in its right place. All the boxes have since been unpacked, not a single breakage or any damage, not even a scracth, to the furniture. Again a friendly bunch of hard workers. All credit to the two teams for a professional and friendly service. Really can't speak highly enough of how they took a lot of the stress out of the whole process. Thanks again!

From the first phone call, through to our move, our experience of working with the Philip Marks team was seamless. We had a challenging lead up to completion, which meant we had to change moving dates quite a few times. Philip Marks team were supportive and really understanding. On the day of the move, the removal team were amazing and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend this removal company if you want a stress free move.

Well, what can I say. House move exchanged and completion date agreed. Removal company I had found said sorry, can’t do now so had to find alternative to move my elderly Mother. So 3 days before Christmas, called Phillip Marks. They came out same day to look around, quoted first thing following day and booked in when I paid deposit. All before they closed for Xmas. Had packing included in moving, and 3 guys turned up, Sam, Emile and Adam. Nothin was too much and they were so nice, reassuring us all was going ok. Made the whole experience much better with friendly banter and support. Another 3 guys came following day to load lorry. Again, nice hard working and friendly. On moving day, awful weather and they again reassured us all going ok. 6 guys in total to unload us at the end. Cheerful and supported through all of it, making the move so much better than we had anticipated. Were a really good bunch of lads, that made it a day filled with lots of fun memories amongst the sadness of moving after my Mother lost my Dad. New start for her in a new community and nice memories from a day we were not looking forward to. The banter between Sam and Emile reminded Mum of my boys, her grandsons, and they really made the whole experience better. Thanks to all the guys , from start to finish and in the office too. Was a pleasure.

We used Philip Marks Removals (Kent) to move us from Medway Kent to Dundee Scotland. Sam arrived on time and immediately put us at ease with his friendly and professional manner. He went about loading the van methodically ensuring everything was secure and was fully loaded and ready to go in no time at all. Before leaving he double checked our contact details and new address, he ensured that we had his mobile number. Also, we agreed what time we would be at the new property for him to deliver our worldly goods. The next day he arrived as expected and once again with the same friendly disposition he worked like a trojan in the pouring rain (welcome to Scotland!) until all of our possessions were safely placed within our property. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company for all your removal needs, they made what can be a very stressful experience a much more relaxed and pleasant one. The initial survey was very warm, and my anxieties of the whole moving process were taken on board, and Philip designed a bespoke removals package that completely laid those anxieties to rest. The guys were really friendly and worked really hard. We have a 2 year old and the team were really careful around him, they talked to him and reassured him that all his toys were safe, and even got biscuits from the local bakery for the kids. All our stuff is in the new place in the rooms we wanted it in, easy. We are returning customers and we would use them again in the future.

Really good team led by Owen and nothing was too much trouble with us moving from Kent to Somerset over 2 days with around 50-60 plants in pots as well as the expected house full of furniture. Unloading day weather was not the best for them on day two with just Owen and Adam unloading in just over 4 hours and everything was fine. Would highly recommend this caring company.

Owen and the team were brilliant moving all our furniture from Kent to Suffolk, Owen was fantastic at packing all sorts of shapes and sizes into our storage unit making sure it all fitted in perfectly. They worked so hard and were very professional. Would def recommend them.
